My paladin's new leg armor pretty much amounts to metal lingerie.
And somehow this provides more protection than the full length pants she had before.
Go figure.

Yes, this game was clearly programmed by men. Although any race can wear this armor, even orcs and trolls, and I imagine it doesn't look nearly as pretty on them as it does on my elf.
I know about BC's new name, and I see that she is still commenting on various blogs. So that's good. I was worried because it looked like her profile disappeared. But perhaps she just made it private.
