Rock!

I love a lot of bands. But MUSE fucking walks on water. I got their new HAARP DVD today, and it kicks so much ass! I was soooo excited when I put it in, I jumped up and down just like I was at their show.

If you're a Muse fan, you should own this DVD. Buy it. Watch it. Rock out to it. You know you want to.

Also...

The Subways have a new single out, and I'm pretty much obsessed with it. I love this band. Their new album comes out in June, and after 3 years of waiting, I couldn't be more excited! IMHO, Charlotte Cooper kicks the ass of most female bassists in rock music today (sorry LynZ).

In other news...

Work is weird right now and I don't know how it's going to turn out. Everyone is being really proactive about trying to make things better, but at the same time, everyone is really frustrated. Lots of tension and stress, but also some progress.

Nope, still haven't found a new job.

I'm finally reclaiming my kitchen from the mice. I killed "the last one" (knock on wood) a couple weeks ago, and now I get to cook again without feeling completely grossed out. I made a bacon & egg scramble for dinner, and it was so damn good! Yes, I eat breakfast for dinner. :)

The guy I went on the date with has made a couple more awkward attempts to hang out, but always at the last minute when I already have plans.

MCR in Portland next week. I booked a hotel room a couple blocks away from the venue, so I'll be parking my car and hoofin' it around the city for two days. I plan to hang out with a friend while I'm in town. My mini midweek vacation is coming together nicely!

[Rubs hands together, Mr. Burns style] Excellent.

Where, oh, where are my old friends??? Alie is presumably busy with her man, who hopefully made it home from Australia safely. She at least tells me what's going on once in a while, but Undercover Brother and The Black Rose? I have no idea. It's been many weeks now with no sign of life. Maybe we're not friends anymore. :(

Other than that, just the usual... work, skiing, WoW, music, movies, sleep... all good stuff.

I suppose I should take the new Subways single off repeat now. It's only played about 20 times!
