A Rigorous Exercise in Futility

You know... I was upset. I got treated really badly by people who used to be my friends. And my friends in real life who came to blogger to hang out with me are still being treated badly.

But after seeing and hearing about all the "evidence" the war mongers have come up with, I'm not upset anymore. Now I'm just laughing!

This has become so rediculous that it's hilarious. I feel sorry for you all, wasting so much of your personal time trying to dig up whatever you can find to incriminate a group of people who have done nothing wrong and have no ill intentions whatsoever.

I think it's tragic that the place you're trying so hard to protect is now more divided than ever because you just can't leave well enough alone. The irony is, you will never be able to control who visits Mayo's. It's a public website! Only Mayo can decide who is allowed to lurk in his/her domain. So why waste your time trying to manage the situation? There's nothing you can do!

I have already volunteered to leave Mayo's house, and I haven't been back since I made that declaration. But the news keeps flowing! I sure feel sorry for that poor kid in Pennsylvania. It's too bad you've made yet another false connection.

The fact remains that you are not being played. I have tried so hard to get this through to you, but you will not listen. So I'm done trying. Now I'll just sit back and laugh as you flounder around, trying to be in control of a situation that is completely out of your hands.

I have left Mayo's, but my blog is not going away. My friends aren't going away either. It's a public website, and we are all free to do and say as we please. I have nothing to hide. So go ahead! Do your worst! Read every one of my blogs. Visit my myspace page. You won't find anything different than what I've already told you.

Enjoy wasting your time and energy!

Andrea, I have nothing against you sweetie, just know that. I am just confused as to what the "truth" is. I've heard many "truths" and I don't know what is real, and what isn't.

Andrea said...

Hi Ergo!

Thanks Paperheart. I'm still a bit confused too. I can't understand why it matters who my friends are. They're not harming anyone.

JocelynHolly said...

Andrea, I'm confused as well. I talked to Alie, and I'm still confused.

I don't think it matter's who they are, but that people felt lied to. I know that I felt lied to after I read the myspace comments on "Ray" or "Gerard"'s myspace.

Andrea said...

I'm sorry you felt lied to Paperheart. That certainly wasn't the intention.

Anonymous said...

Andrea, I feel a bit like PH.
I don't want it to matter, as you are nice interesting and fun people. I'm just not sure how or if everything fits together somehow.

I agree Ergo.

I want to get to know you all better. Andrea, you've been around since the beginning basically, yet I feel like we barely know eachother. (or as well as we should). I'd like nothing more that to get to know you all better. =]

Andrea said...

If it seems like things don't fit together, it's because people are trying to make connections where no connection exists. At least that's my opinion.

You both have been nice to me since the beginning and I would be happy to get to know you both better.

ergoproxy said...

that'd be nice.

I'll catch you tomorrow
bye:)

First 'how are you' stop-in.
*hugz*

I hear ya on the 'puter-swapping... when I had do switch mine out, it took me a whole day to get the new machine set up & transfer all my data over. And I only had about 10 GB of files!

Oh well, it beats actually having to work, right? ^_~

Here's some drama you'll like,

IT'S COLD HERE, AND I THINK I'M FREEZING MY PINK PARTS OFF!! @_@

Made you laugh, I hope?

Andrea said...

Yes, you made me laugh!

Thanks for stopping in Sis. Always good to read you!

Andrea said...

Hi BC. I'm doing alright, thanks for asking. Just tired of it all. You know how it is. ;-)

How are you?

Anonymous said...

That's good to hear. Tired of it all as well? Yeah, same here. I'm doing okay, just tired and waiting for the storms to pass.

JocelynHolly said...

Andrea, I hope you have a great day! After my last class in an hour, I must head to work!

How're you?

Hi Andrea, how are you today?

I just want to let you know that I haven't had any dealings with your friends, I have never been at mayos when they have, so I have no personal grudge.

It is sad that many bloggers feel lied to, I feel sad that they are feeling that way, that is my only worry.

However, Whatever your friends have said to other people, in my eyes, it has nothing to do with you.

I still hold you dear sweetie. You have always come to my blog and offered me support and I will continue to do the same for you.

Thinking about you.

Anonymous said...

Anon, that was not very nice. Please refrain from the threats.

Look at what she lost, Anon>?
What did she lose - visits to a blog?
Oh shit -- how will she ever go on?

(/ sarcasm)

ergoproxy said...

Hi Andrea.
Hoppe you've had a more productive day at work today.
It's at least cooler here.

Hope to catch you later.

Anonymous, I do not consider that an observation and besides, why should someone take your words seriously if you hide behind an unmarked grave? Have you ever consider that? Either way, I think it is wrong that some anons have to resort to speaking to someone like that, when there are better ways to address them about this situation.

And by the way, calling people names is childish and stupid. Your opinion on observation just flew out of the window as soon as you said the word "retard."

And if you want to speak to me like that, I suggest you use your blogger name because I know somehow you fear that you may get caught. And please do not lie, otherwise you would not be signed in with the name anonymous and speaking to me like that if that were the case.

When I have idiots speaking to me under anonymous, they usually do it out of fear. Remember that.

I am not the queen of drama. I am only trying to be the mediator in this because I am tired of the finger pointing and conspiracy theories. If case you do not know what mediator means, go look it up.

And by the way, learn how to spell surprise. It is with an s, not a z. Good day to you.

Hello BC, Paperheart, Miss T, Sis, Ergo... oh, and how could I forget Nicole? ^_^ How is everyone doing?

I had a depressing day at work, but now that I'm home I feel much better. I hope you all had (or are still having) a good day.

Anonymous, what exactly have I lost by standing by my friends? Many of the people who inhabit Mayo's house started treating me badly way before I came out and stood my ground. I don't have any regrets about losing contact with those people.

All the people I actually care about have been nice enough to come here and talk to me outside of Mayo's. So I've really lost nothing.

I do feel a little weird about writing anything too personal in my blog right now, but that will pass. The drama won't last forever. Eventually everyone who thinks they care about this madness will get bored and move onto the next catastrophe.

Anonymous said...

Hi there Andrea. Sorry to hear about your day at work. I hope you are doing okay now. And whatever that anon said, I do not regret defending my friend. I cannot see why some of them think it's wrong to defend someone. Anon, if it were up to you, would you rather have people talk shit about someone you care about, or would you defend them?

Anyways, Andrea, I am doing okay. I had to do some venting at Mayo's, but I'm okay now. Thanks for asking. How are you?

Andrea said...

Hi BC, I'm doing alright. Thanks for asking. I'm sorry you had to do some venting at Mayo's. I have no idea what direction things have taken over there. I heard it was tense. I feel sad that all of this discussion and argument has made it less enjoyable for the people who do want to be there.

Anonymous said...

Andrea, your welcome. I felt that the venting was neccessary though. I needed to let out my frustration over the entire thing. And I feel much better now. I hope things will die out soon.

ergoproxy said...

hi andrea

oh mayo's will get through anything, I think sometimes there are overreactions anywhere.
I think everyone is tired of it.
I still feel a little confused by it but it doesn't trouble me, or worry me about coming to see you here.

Glad your day was ok.
here my net connection is a bit funny as we have heavy cloud going over and it blocks the satellite.

Andrea said...

BC, I'm glad you feel better after venting. I know venting my frustrations always makes me feel better too.

Ergo, you have a satellite internet connection? That's very interesting. (But only because I'm a technology nerd!) Most of the internet service in my area is provided through phone or cable lines.

ergoproxy said...

we are rural so you can get the govt to supply a dish and modem to link you to broadband, otherwise it's dial up or adsl ( your cost to install)
it's not as fast as city net but much faster than dial up we have no mobile service either (yes you'd think we lived more than 12 miles from the coast) so it's good to have as you don't use your phone line.

Anonymous said...

Hi there Ergo. Andrea, no matter what happens, from now until whenever, I will still be here for you. Take care

Andrea said...

Aww, thanks BC. That means a lot to me.

Wow, the government supplies internet because you're rural? Man... my country sucks. :-P

My mom is very rural, and she couldn't get anything more than dial-up for the longest time. She just recently got DSL.

Anonymous said...

we pay the monthly providers cost but yes, the govt spends about $3 500 to do the set up for you.

(it's because Aust is so big and there are no plans to extend the cable network out here)

JocelynHolly said...

Andrea, I am stopping by before my long ass day at school. I hope that you, and everyone else enjoys their day much more than I will.
